The common problems in the process of using submersible slurry pump and solutions:
1. The impeller and the retaining plate has the friction: the solution is to adjust the axial position of the impeller, to overcome the friction.
2. The submersible slurry pump is opeating in the cavitation state: the solution is to adjust the pump cavitation characteristics of the pipeline to make pump cavitation margin is greater than the pump required cavitation margin.
3. The shortage of slurry supply cause pump evacuation: increase the amount of slag slurry or turn off the outlet valve of pump.
4. The slurry pump do not discharge slurry, pointer of pressure gauge jump violent: This is caused by the slurry outlet is in plug, pipeline and instrument air leakage, at this time should be discharged blockages and tighten or block up the leak point.
5. The flow is too low: This is caused by the impeller wear is too big, the slurry pump is blocked and the speed insufficient. At this point the impeller should be replaced, and wash the pump and pipeline to increase the speed.
6. The pressure gauge indicates that there is pressure in the place of pump outlet, but it still not discharge slurry. The reason is that the resistance of discharge pipe is too large, the blockage and the shortage of rotation speed of the impeller. At this point should check whether the pipeline is blocked, but also to clean the impeller, in order to increase the speed.
7. Bearing Overheating: shaft lack of oil or there is dirt inside the shaft. Add lubricating grease oil, clean or replace bearing.
8. The cavitation margin of pipeline is less than the necessary cavitation margin of slurry pump, which cause a small amount of pump: make pipe device, so that the pipeline cavitation margin is greater than the pump required cavitation or replace a pump whose cavitation performance can meet the requirements of the pipeline pump.
9. The packing is loose or the installation of the filler is not correct: adjusting the filler to achieve the sealing performance, mounting the filler according to the 5-4 point.
